Adzuki Beans (Phaseolus angularis)

Origin: China
Adzuki bean powder has been used in Japanese skin care regimens for centuries to cleanse and exfoliate the skin and to rejuvenate and brighten the complexion. They contain a natural foaming agent called saponin that helps cleanse pores by absorbing excess oils, removing dirt and dead skin cells, drawing out impurities and promoting circulation.

Alkanet Root (Alkanna tinctoria root)
Alkanna is perennial herbaceous plant native to southern Europe. Alkanet root is primarily used as a natural dyeing.

Almonds (Prunus amygdalus dulcis nut) 

Origin: USA

Ground almonds gently exfoliate and refine flaky skin and dulling build-up. Furthermore, the oil in almonds provides skin with a boost of vitamins A and E, soothing dry or irritated skin and reducing redness and inflammation.

Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus armeniaca) 

Origin: Italy
Apricot kernel oil is cold pressed from the kernels of the apricot fruit. It is a light, odourless oil that is readily absorbed by skin and doesn't leave a greasy residue. It is very rich in oleic and linoleic fatty acids, as well as Vitamin A and E, making it beneficial for dry skin and scalp conditions as well as healthy hair growth.

Argan Oil (Argania spinosa)

Origin: Morocco
Argan oil is extracted from the nut of the argan tree, which only grows in the Moroccan dessert. It is very rich in beneficial nutrients including essential fatty acids and vitamin E, it is has many healing, conditioning and repairing properties.  It absorbs easily and is non-greasy, and is very effective as a skin moisturizer to hydrate and soften skin. The antioxidants in argan oil help restore elasticity and reduce visability of wrinkles, giving skin a youthful glow. They also help heal irritated and damaged skin as well as reduce inflammation.

Beeswax (Cera alba)

Origin: Fraser Valley, BC, Canada
Beeswax is the natural wax produced by honeybees. It has occlusive properties, thereby it increases moisture levels in skin by providing a protective barrier to epidermal water loss. Beeswax also offers anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral benefits making it helpful in treating skin irritation.

Bentonite Clay (Bentonite)

Origin: USA
Bentonite clay is a naturally occurring clay from Volcanic ash sediments with over 70 trace minerals. It is highly absorbent, pulling oil and toxins from the skin, making it a great choice for oily skin.

Bergamot Essential Oil (Citrus Bergamia)

Origin: Italy

Bergamot essential oil is extracted from the fresh fruit peel by cold expression (cold pressed), then steam distilled. It has a citrus, yet fruity scent with warm floral notes. In hair care, the oil is beneficial for adding sheen and repairing damaged hair.

Borage Oil (Borago officinalis)

Origin: China
Borage Oil is cold pressed from the seeds of the borage plant, otherwise known as Blue Starflower. It is well known as one of the richest sources of essential fatty acids, including stearic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid. Borage oil also contains one of the highest amounts of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), and is excellent for skin health, reducing redness, rehydrating ageing skin, and helping restore the suppleness, elasticity and tone of tired, dry, or scarred skin.

Burdock Root (Arctium lappa)

Due to its vitamin A content and essential fatty acids, burdock root oil can help strengthen hair by nourishing the scalp, as well as alleviate scalp conditions including dandruff, itchy scalp and redness.
