It is also said to have natural antioxidant properties; and the naturally occurring cinnamic acid provides UV protection for the skin. |

Sweet almond oil is a nearly odourless, fairly light oil that is readily absorbed by skin. It is naturally high in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and a small amount of vitamin E. It has a soothing effect and is well tolerated by most skin types. |

Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alterniflora) |

Tea tree oil is extracted from the leaves by steam distillation. It has a fresh, antiseptic and medicinal fragrance. It is known for ability to fight all three types of infectious organisms (bacteria, fungi, and viruses) and its cleansing ability. It is also said to be beneficial for many skin conditions including acne, oily skin, burns, sores, sunburns and dry scalp conditions. |

Vitamin E (Tocopherol) |

Natural Vitamin E can be derived from many plant oils, including wheat and soy. Our Vitamin E is derived from non-GMO soy. Vitamin E plays a role in protecting skin cells and membranes from environmental damage including from UV rays, pollutants, as well as reducing the effects of ageing. It is also an antioxidant used to prolong the shelf life of oil-based products naturally. |

Only distilled water is used in our formulations. Distilled water has virtually all of its impurities removed through distillation. Distillation involves boiling the water and then condensing the steam into a clean container, leaving nearly all of the solid contaminants behind. |
